The settlement process involves A LOT of paper. You will be asked to sign a stack of documents at the time of closing. Below, we have assembled a sample of the most common forms which will require your signature. Counselors Title will prepare certain documents, however, the majority of the documents signed at settlement originate with the buyer’s/borrower’s lender. We have provided samples below of the most common closing documents. We are happy to request advance copies of any documents from your lender in order to provide them to you prior to closing for your review. All you need to do is ask us.
